AlerTCG terms

A read-only lookup over public data: card prices, the on-chain record of graded slabs, and what a wallet address holds on the vault chains it reads. It shows you figures other people published and one sum we run on them. It holds no keys, connects to no wallet, signs nothing, sells nothing and has nothing to buy inside it.

Every figure can be delayed, matched to the wrong printing, drawn from a thin sample, or simply wrong, and the app says so beside the number wherever that is knowable. Nothing in it is an appraisal, a valuation, an offer, or advice of any kind, financial or otherwise. Decisions you make on the strength of it are yours.

"Above water" and "underwater" describe whether a slab's premium over a raw copy covered a grading fee — at the fee you typed and at today's published fee. The fee you typed is yours to get right; the app cannot know it. A verdict on a thin sample is marked thin and is still shown, because hiding it would be worse.

Typing an address reads what that public address holds on a public chain. It does not prove who owns the address, and the app never claims to. Coverage of the grading index is partial: a slab it has never seen is listed without a price, not omitted, and "no price observed" means exactly that.

Alerts are checked on your phone when iOS allows and whenever you open the app. iOS decides when the background check runs; the app does not promise a check at any particular time and an alert can arrive late or, if iOS never runs the check, not at all. The in-app "since you last looked" view is the reliable record.

You are responsible for what you put in it and where you share the image. Use your own photograph of your own card. Do not put anyone else's details in it.

Not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any trading card game publisher, grading company, vault, marketplace or chain. Card names, set names and numbers are factual reference data. Venue and grader names identify where a figure came from and nothing more.

The app depends on services we do not control and that fail; when one does, the app says which, and shows nothing rather than a guess. We may change or withdraw the app or these terms at any time. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
