Terms

Terms

Read clauses five and eight if you read nothing else. A card you send us is handled by a grader and a vault on their terms, and the prices shown on this site are reference data that can be wrong rather than valuations you should act on.

What this is

Re:TCG does four things. It looks up prices for trading cards of very low value. It tells you what one graded slab has done and whether grading it broke even. It handles getting a graded card vaulted and tokenized on Polygon or Solana, or redeemed back off, on your behalf and for a fee. And it sells sealed packs opened on camera. It is not a broker, not a grading company, not a vault, and not an investment scheme, and it has no token.
02

Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 18, to buy a pack break, to subscribe, to send us a card to handle, or to receive a physical item. Items are posted only where the operator can lawfully post them. Some destinations will be declined and no reason need be given.
03

Looking things up

Price and cert lookups are free and need no account. They are provided for interest, are rate-limited, and may be withdrawn or capped at any time — the underlying data is metered and paid for. Do not scrape this site; the sources it uses have their own public terms and you can go to them directly.
04

The subscription

The subscription is $2 a month, billed by a payment processor, and can be cancelled from the billing portal at any time; it ends at the close of the period already paid for. It buys alerts, a digest and the right to request fresh sold-comps lookups. It does not buy any guarantee that an alert will fire for every event, that a digest will arrive on a given day, or that the metered comps source will be available. Prices, search, history and cached comps are free to everybody and are not part of what is sold.
05

Cards you send us to handle

A handling request is an enquiry, not a booking; nothing is agreed until you have a written quote and have accepted it. Handling is charged at $25 for up to 10 cards and $7.5 for each card beyond that, plus postage at cost and any fee the grader or vault charges, which are quoted before anything is sent and may be quoted only once known. You keep title to your card throughout; the operator holds it only to pass it to the grader or vault and back. Grading outcomes are decided by the grader, and intake, custody, insurance, redemption and the token itself are governed by the vault's own terms — Courtyard on Polygon or Collector Crypt on Solana — which you must read and accept yourself. Post is lost and parcels are damaged; the operator insures cards in transit to the declared value you give and is not liable beyond it. Send only what you are content to have handled by third parties on their terms.
06

Pack breaks

Buying a slot is buying one specific sealed pack for $5, paid in SOL to the address shown after you claim the slot. Claiming asks for one way to reach you, which is how the cards get to you. Payment is confirmed by a person, not automatically. Once paid, the pack is opened on camera and everything in it is yours, posted to you or, at your choice, priced and published instead. Slots are allocated in purchase order. A claimed but unpaid slot is released after a reasonable time. Packs are sold as-is, sealed, with no warranty about their contents beyond that they are what the slot describes. Title and risk pass on despatch. Any duty, tax or customs charge at your end is yours.
07

Postage

Where a postage charge applies it is a flat $5 inside the US and quoted per parcel anywhere else, before anything is charged. Pack break postage inside the US is included in the slot price.
08

Prices here are reference data, not appraisals

Prices are obtained from public third-party sources, may be delayed, incomplete, or simply wrong, and describe past or listed transactions rather than what anybody will pay you. The break-even shown for a slab is arithmetic over those prices and a fee you supply. Nothing here is an appraisal, a valuation, or advice on whether to buy, sell, grade or tokenize. Do not price your own transaction off this site without checking a source you trust, and do not present anything from here to a buyer or an insurer as an assessment.
09

We are not the grader or the vault

Re:TCG grades nothing, authenticates nothing and vaults nothing. Where grading or vaulting is mentioned it is carried out by independent third-party companies paid as an ordinary customer, which decide their own outcomes, may find a card altered or counterfeit, may decline to encapsulate or accept it, and set their own turnaround and fees. No grade, outcome, or timescale is ever promised.
10

Intellectual property

The project's own name, writing, layout and photographs belong to the operator. Trading card games, card names, set names, artwork and logos belong to their publishers and rightsholders, who have nothing to do with this project and have licensed nothing to it. Card names and prices appear as factual reference data. If you are a rightsholder and something here troubles you, get in touch and it will be looked at promptly and in good faith.
11

Conduct

Do not claim a pack without intending to pay. Do not send us cards you do not own. Do not submit somebody else's personal information. Do not scrape or hammer the lookups. Anyone doing any of these has their claims voided and their requests declined.
12

No warranty, and limits

The site and the project are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. The operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including any loss arising from reliance on a price or a break-even shown here, and total liability for anything connected to this project is limited to the greater of what you actually paid the operator directly for the thing in question or one hundred US dollars — except that a card lost or damaged while in the operator's own hands is covered to the declared value you gave for it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13

Changes

These terms can change, and material changes will be marked by the date at the top of this page. The project can be paused or stopped at any time. If it stops, it stops — except that any pack already paid for will be opened and sent or refunded, any card in the operator's hands will be returned, and any subscription period already paid for will run out or be refunded.
